When it comes to pre-wedding photoshoots, many couples often dream of exotic destinations like Paris or Santorini. But tucked away in the heart of Southeast Asia lies a gem that is often overlooked: Thailand. A couple of months ago, we had the privilege of embarking on a two-day shoot with Jarvis and Geline. This particular set was from our second day, in the bustling metropolis of Bangkok.
Our morning was spent in this hidden café nestled with canals, with these quirky yellow boats that awaited us. We then made our way to the iconic Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn. There was a bit of a hiccup here where the gown that we brought didn’t meet the temple rules. We still pulled it off after though when Jarvis used his coat to cover up Geline’s shoulders.
No trip to Bangkok would be complete without a visit to the Lebua Sky Bar. Perched high above the city, it offered a panoramic view of the city’s skyline. After a lovely dinner in the sky, we were finally on our last location in Chinatown. While exploring the streets, we discovered obscure spots and captured candid moments along the way. We even found an alley adorned with red paper lanterns. The result? Stunning photos that perfectly showcased Jarvis and Geline’s love and the enchanting spirit of this vibrant city.
