Inspiration for my photos come from a variety of things – from magazines, to movies, down to daily scenes that I see. There was one time that I watched a music video featuring a mansion and a couple with some tall classy looking dogs. I immediately messaged Lizzie about the idea and presented the concept, they loved it! I was lucky to know someone who has a place like this but trained dogs were harder to find. Though we weren’t able to acquire a doberman, we got into contact with an owner of two champion belgian malinois. Everything fell into their rightful places and we got the shoot started.
The mansion was huge and I know you wouldn’t believe me when I say that this is in the heart of Ortigas Center, one of Manila’s business districts. Amidst the busy streets crowded with cars and office people, we found this place. The details here are overwhelming and I can imagine transforming this to a wedding venue for intimate events if only it wasn’t a private home. Well, maybe they’d consider doing that once they see the potential of the place with these images.
